Hahaha, maybe. I honestly don't know enough about the ancient history of the philosophy of language enough to know. I do know that "On Denoting" was a brilliant piece though; it stands with Kripke's "A Puzzle about Belief", Frege's "On Sense and Nominatum", and Wittgenstein's
Philosophical Investigations, as one of my favorite works in the philosophy of language.
