558 x 1.5 eth bonus = 837
837 + 220% = 2678.4 = 2678
D2 ignores decimal, so it's displayed as 2678. It's perfect, because all 220% carapaces use the same base and get the same total defense. But you wouldn't know that, because you're complete fucktards and don't even know basics.
