But it's still wrong.
You lose 25% of the total effect.
You also lose 25% of the 30% of hm.
You lose 25% of every modifier that enhances the healing.

You actually need like 60% total HM to offset the 25% deficit

My above statement is incorrect.
But I do think we answered the questions correctly.

500 showing
33 hm, 165

665 max potential
25% pentality = 166.25

It's about as close as it gets

27ee won't make up... You need a 33% gain in order to compensate a 25% loss.

i know, thats why the average is still a bit lower with the hm setup.
all i wanted to proove with it is that 25%hm wont make up for the 25% loss in the acc. slot and that "This is how I thought it works" on first post is correct.

but you also dont need 60hm to compensate it like przy said...

Which is exactly 33%. That means the first scenario in the original post is correct?

yes

tom i di  abunch of testing before with hm. using focused heals i didnt get a higher heal from my acc than i would in the main slot until i used a 57+ hm charm. now within cata its a lil different because of the mana diffence but in no maze before anything less than 57 straight hm on ur main slot charm was not worth the effort

thats because you ONLY used hm on armor, charm and wep. if you use some int instead on your armor or charm, the hm charm will be more beneficial

This is again decreased for 25% by the Acc. Slot penalty, totalling 105% (which is 130% - 25%).

this above statement is incorrect.
It wouldnt be 105% because that would go above showing heal.

I agree with you too :p
I once came up with a number, 62% to break even using hm from accessory.
But when doing the math, 33% is correct based on the assumption that HM is a true percentile.

There's no rules about double posting mr!
It's just like general chat, no rules against early bump, double post, etc.
It's not a trade forum, it's a conversation forum :)
But it doesn't mean be a retarded spammer either :evillol:

But I think we all figured out or learned something :)

Spell Damage = (base*(.95 + int/100)(1 + (EE+prof)/100)(1 + HM/100))0,75

You need to gain more then 25% heal from your acc.charm then you would normally get. 60 isn't a fixed number, if you have low end HM-Int gear on your other equipement you'll need less on your acc.charm to offset this.

Plus lets keep in mind it's -25%/-25% in catacombs so your being more efficient as long as you have 1 hm or 1 int.

Lets just plug in some numbers for fun and see what happens :)

100ee - 30HM - 30 HM - 100 int = 480

480 * 0,75 = 360

Quote
480 = (77*(1,95)(2)(1 + (60 + x/100))0,75

-> 53 HM

200ee - 60 hm - 60 hm - 200 int = 1498

1498 * 0,75 = 1124

Quote
1498 = (77*(2,95)(3)(1 + (1 + 120+x/100))0,75

-> 73 HM

:)

No?

Or am I still not understanding O.o
