Or maybe we should just balance the coldstack (like they do in HLD tours) Since the damage you get from boosting frostbolt is minor.
I myself have a stack setup on my coldsorc and ive tested it vs Maxs blizzer.
1raven + no stack = 1hit dead, where as stack + raven = 6-7 full blizzards to kill me.
So when we have fun duels I play with lvl 1iceblast + lvl 1blizzard (63fcr + stack) vs maxed iceblast/blizzard (105fcr + no stack) and they are about 50/50 to each of us (know its not the hardest fact, but should give people some idea of how lame it really is. Compare with firesorcs how much abs a fber would need with lvl 1fireball/1firebolt/63fcr vs 20fireball/20firebolt/105fcr to make it even...)
Personally I dont really care that much, and I agree with dyl4nd0u that I would rather havefun offensive duels rather than 2 people running away from eachother for an hour and a half. (Stack in my eyes should be allowed on all melee chars, since they have such a hard time vs orbers. However chars like bowas/trappers/fbsorcs etc, who has such a huge advantage its just pure stupidity to allow them to nulify the damage...)
Cant see why coldsorcs have such hard abs, when fb sorcs are the more common and better choice? I dont see people allowed to wear hots + dwarf vs fb sorcs?
Alot of whining here im sorry, just really cant see the point of this discussion since its proven you can outstack all elements.
No matter what people agree on abot the -res, I would like to join with my orber.

so 75res (full stacked) + raven = nullified dmg?

and ah, maybe test out when you go on full dmg instead of -res (maybe 10-30% more?).

Basicly yea, ofcourse if you stand still making 100% full orbs people lifebars move a bit, but duelling real its basicly non existing damage yea

Would be a bad fb sorc fake or? Why the hell should i make a coldsorc to have same dmg like 1fb @ end? (ofc only as blizz...orb wont reach 1fb dmg if fullstacked+1raven)

FB is really better choice then...
The HLD Stackmax has a good reason: Coldsorcs maindmg comes from minor res

You want to use -res as advantage.
