The no tapping rule is in place because to prevent leaching high amounts of life back in a short amount of time. the same reason replenish life is capped.

lol? so shrines/wells/potions are allowed but lifetap isn't? congrats on using 3 year old d2pk rules which have been re-updated at least 20 times since then.
