Hah, funny. I clicked this thread precisely to mention I have just finished reading The Alchemist. Very good book, I'm sure you'll enjoy.

Been reading D.K. Holmberg's Cloud Warrior Saga

So I have finished 4 and a on book 5. Thank god for Kindle Unlimited

There are 9 books in that series and he has 30 overall, thinking to read all the available titles on KU

Book 9....this series is good, especially If you have Kindle Unlimited and can read the whole series under your monthly fee!

Finished The Shining a few days ago. Currently about 40% of the way through Tigana and enjoying it.
