Hamsun - Mysteries

this is a suiting title indeed because the whole book is one big mystery. This book is extremely odd, themes are obscured and there's a ton of dreams, anecdotes, supernatural stuff that's never explained.
A standout piece in his catalouge, confusing but enthralling.

Dostoyevsky - en liten hjälte (dont know english title)

one of his worst shorts in my opinion.

1 / 4 (not worth your time)

Dexter - in the dark

Possibly the worst book ever written, I dont even know where to begin criticising this so I'm not gonna.

Agatha Christie - Lord Edgwar dies

Read it because I used to like Christie when I was a mid teen but I found it only barely readable. Not my cup of tea!

Salinger, JD - The Catcher in the Rye

Much read classic, and for good reason. Very nice book.

Dostoevsky - the eternal husband

A novel about jealousy and cuckholding. Well written as always but not one of his best, still worth reading tho.

Also read / reading a bunch of shorts by Chekhov and JD Salinger that I'm not gonna list individually.

Gogol, Nikolai - Dead Souls

Fantastic book! Lots of satire, Gogol criticize corruption in 19th century russian society and reflect upon how to live life in a modern Godless society filled with harmful temptations. Book has serious themes but is incredibly funny.
Was a major influence on Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky etc.

Gogol, Nikolai - the government inspector.

A play which touch upon the same themes as Dead Souls. It's lighthearted and funny satire.
Definitly recommended.
