Jean-Dominique Bauby - Diving Bell and the Butterfly

A guy with locked in syndrome wrote his memoirs from his hospital bed using only his left eyelid for communication. Picked it up mostly because the film is fantastic, the book is very similar and there's really no reason to get into both. Watch the film instead.

enders game

If you enjoyed this I suggest the rest of the series.
I started with the Enders shadows series first and than I went to the Enders Universe series. Personally I'm glad I went that route.

Narrated by: Khristine Hvam
Length: 18 hrs and 11 mins
Series: Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Book 3

In this thrilling conclusion to the Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy, Karou is still not ready to forgive Akiva for killing the only family she's ever known. When a brutal angel army trespasses into the human world, Karou and Akiva must ally their enemy armies against the threat--and against larger dangers that loom on the horizon. They begin to hope that it might forge a way forward for their people. And, perhaps, for themselves--maybe even toward love.

the action is a huge letdown and the ending left me feeling "wha..?" i mostly read it because i read the first two.
