And we also don't know how long he was a spy for the revolutionary army hiding with doffy

Three, the manga LOVES to keep a motif with each character to make them unique. AKA their laughs and their makeup and their hairstyle and so on.

I mean the author kept the same shit for sabo from when he was young to now, kept many similar features of characters when they time skipped and so on

I am pretty sure that it is strongly hinted (or has been before) that those who possess the will of D have the ability to unlock the truth of the void century, where the world govt. came to power.

As a consequence, it might be said that those who inherit the will of D are the "natural enemies" of those who were part of the world govt.

Will of D is the enemy of the world govt but doffy was kicked out as a Celestial Dragon when his father begged to get back in. So WHY would he hate someone that's against the gov't if anything he would welcome them.

Think about it. I said they are "natural enemies". It probably goes beyond just the fact that he was kicked out of the celestial dragons. No doubt, Doffy was taught/learned something concerning the history which would lead to a clash with someone who has inherited the will.

Their circumstances presently don't matter, and corazon knew this. He knew that having someone like Law around will eventually bring about some kind of tragedy.
