Hi there, i'm not a profesionnal but i'll help you.
First you won't be able to do something good looking if you can't draw with a pencil because you'll need a tablet.
I'm not really an example because my drawing skills are so so but using photoshop can make things easier:
you can erase as much as you want, you can add colors over and over, you got layers and many effects nor tools.
Im not sure if a tutorial would be enough to learn properly things like color theory and perspective. This kind of things must
be practiced a lot.
I had an idea some days ago about making a topic for people searching mentors in order to learn what you really want. It'd be hard to apply this kind of practice here of course but
as i get more free time i could be your "teacher" (i saw this kind of practice on conceptart.org)
Just let me know what you think and i'll do my best. You'll have to do your best too, it means you'll have to work hard and have interrest for brushing overall.
