If I remember correctly, one other good thing about Ebotd War Spikes is that it has good average damage? I might have remembered it wrong...


I'm using the eth prudence/non-eth fort sacred armor build, so I have around 92 or so base strength

Any idea what dex you need for this build to get 21k attack rating? the fort build..

i have a couple questions.

i hit the 21,000 AR point, and im wondering if there is any benefit in getting MORE ar (improving my charms) against other conc barbs, zeal pallies, or other builds a conc barb would duel. (GM melee only) f more AR isnt beneficial, I'd assume I should switch out some ar/lifers for max/ar/lifers.

next, im using 20ias/15str/8dex gloves, and im wondering if its worth the investment to get 20/15+/10+/CB gloves (for the extra CB). i play ESCNL and have 765FG atm, but i dont want to invest in new gloves if the cost for CB gloves is too much compared to its benefit in duels.

next, defense. my barb has 28,290 defense with bc/shout. he is only lvl 90 so i have 3 more Iron Skin points to add. Is there a certain bench mark for defense i should aim for, or shuld i ALWAYS want more defense? (to improve my current items)

By the way, thank you for this great Guide, helped me with the finer points i needed for my barb.

suggestion: maybe you could do more extensive build VS build duels? (it seems some duels may be due to bad luck or whatnot, random D2-ness. would be nice to see if certain builds just lose period to others in a longer run)
