I have a lvl 88 elemental druid and he aint shit. I have 34 skill points to Cyclone,Tornado,Twister,and Hurricane. My Oak is around 15 and my grizzly is at 18. At first he was great tearing mobs apart and my grizzly was a beast in himself. Now I find myself getting my as kicked when I solo through Act1 in hell. My Tornado spins past or around mobs and sice Im doing near 5k damage I figured he would lay waste to mobs easily on that act. I cant figure it out and dying is happening too much for me to enjoy my playing time. Oh ya, my merc is at my lvl and he gets his ass kicked all the time as well.
Its not like when I could rely on the next level up to make me stronger or better skill wise. Its just me trying to upgrade my gear and Im getting nowhere with this setup. Im not a beggar and I dont take handouts, Im all about me building the best char with shit Ive earned along the way. Im at a breaking point and its gonna go one way or the other. I belive that the error isnt with my character setup but with the limitations of online play.

the only prob i got is,hurricane=cold dmg,tornado=physical dmg

there seem to nothing i can do on a cold/physical immune monster?btw my merc use infinity/eth fort/tal mask,that'd mean merc doing physical dmg too..what can i do on a cold/physical immune monster?

Find a merc weapon that ummm well there is always Act 3 mercs or just leave the monsters alone

why are you guys bumping and criticizing a PVM guide that was written 2 years ago?

i can honestly say this build is one that i like!!!
Thing is i have used a program on open to create all gear and see what outcomes would be! Figured i made about 20 ele druids before i came up with the same build! Here's the problem, i have also created other chars and it seems to me that there is a synergy problem. Of which makes the best druid builds lack the Damage as other chars! I know Pallys are the favorites, but seems like there is a problem i will list what gear i am using in the bottom and just wondering if Battle.net or Blizz has got anything going on about leveling the playing field! Also why only smiters can own ubers? I have a barb that can hold up a fight with the ubers but he cant do the uber trist! I was just wondering if anyone else is having the same problems as me, or if they see the lack of love from Blizz to druids!

I use Enigma (1k+ def) 40 hoto, 6/6/3 cta (crystal sword Lower req), 2 spirit shields for bo and ss after prebuff, double uped bloodfists, p mara's ammy, 2 bk's, 2 fcr stat rings, arach, aldurs boots (fire res) and the 40fr/w aint bad either, and 3 to nado 3 to hurricane 2 to oak Delirium helm(sexy), anni and torch and 2x fhr elegcs and lifers! w/ 3/xx/xx, 3/xx/x sc;s!

ROFL, really cracked me up

I mostly PVM with my druid. Instead of two sojs, I like fcr and soj combination. maras ammy. I use enig, arch belt, sandstorm boots, (perf) hoto, spirit shield, 20% fcr&fhr, +2 druid, +49 mana coronet. Gotta few elm GCs, a few fhr scs, like two resist scs.
Total resists 61, 75 ,71 ,75.


*Is there such a thing as a +2 all skills, +3 'nado, 20% fcr coronet or some helm??? I like my +2 all skills and 20% fcr, but I've seen some nice +3 tornado helms also.

IMO fcr is a key for druids.
