This is the formula that gives you the alvl and with the appropiated alvl you can get the mods you want.

If (ilvl>99) then {ilvl=99}
if (qlvl>ilvl) then {ilvl=qlvl}
if (magic_lvl>0) then {alvl=ilvl+magic_lvl}
else
{
if (ilvl<(99-qlvl/2))
then {alvl=ilvl-qlvl/2}
else {alvl=2*ilvl-99}
}
If (alvl>99) then {alvl=99}

The requirement level has nothing to do with it, is the quality level and on top of that in orbs the magic_lvl on top of the the qlvl, since orbs are one of the few things that have a magic_lvl > 0.

Also the ilvl will still be important to know what kind of staff mods you could get since those are purely based on the ilvl and not the alvl.

I get that the intention is good, but this is not a "secret method" and the vid is full of errors and missinformation, is your vid and your channel, but if I was me I would deleted it, "study" this https://diablo2.diablowiki.net/Item_Generation_Tutorial and make another one after you really understand how this work.

isnt the quality level what dictates the requirement level?

Would this craft be able on an item with lower level requirement than 60 in any case?

if you give me any proof of an item with lower level requirement than 60, getting the ilvl 60 affixes of the items rolling with flaweless gems, I delete my video. Challenge sent

A circle required level of 16, getting alvl mods (+3 pnb).

With enough ilvls any item will get alvl 60 mods

With enough ilvls any item will get alvl 60 mods and with flaweless gems you are not lowering the ilvl.

with flaweless you lower the ilvl to 30, so you are right, the item needs to have >60 quality level.. I thought that the quality level defined the requirements, since it was written in wiki aswell

Items in Diablo II can spawn of three separate quality levels. These are Normal, Exceptional and Elite. Items of a higher quality have increased base stats. Items of a higher quality level have higher damage/defense (depending on whether it is a weapon or a piece of armor) and an increased number of potential sockets they can spawn with. To offset this, their strength and dexterity requirements are also higher than the base item.

And than from there I thought that items with quality level 60 would have requirements of 60, but I get what you are saying.. I will make another video to fix this info... besides that, I dont see any missinformation there,

you cannot craft a +3pnb helmet with flaweless because it only works for weapons, but yea, the Flaweless craft is not based on the ilvl because the ilvl would become 30.. the quality level needs to be =>60 i will just make a video explaining it better,

thanks for pointing it out about the quality level, because from what I understood the level requirement and the stats requirements were defined by the quality level, and I thought that the >60 level requirement would represent the quality level.. i will just record another one and explain it more indepth.. thanks for pointing it out

Yeah, I have a small brainfart with the lowering ilvl, but is not only that.

Is not qlvl > 60, to get alvl 60 you need to have at least qlvl > 80 that will give you alvl61+

Also, to get +3 fire mastery (for example) or any other tier 6 skill, you need to have a ilvl > 36 so any craft without perfects gems will not give you the mastery no matter the qlvl, so the last craft you show in the vid would never have +3 to cold mastery with fawless gems.

doesnt the formula says that if the ilvl < qlvl than ilvl = qlvl?

Yes, also you have this in the formula:

ilvl<(99-qlvl/2))
then {alvl=ilvl-qlvl/2}
else {alvl=2*ilvl-99}

so is not as simple as qlvl60 to get alvl60 you need to some extra maths.

Edit: if you don't want to do the mats you have a table here that tells you the alvl you will get depending on the qlvl and the ilvl of any given combination of the two

https://www.theamazonbasin.com/wiki/index.php/Affix_level_chart

Just look for 60+ on the table and the look for the qlvl you need if you are not going to have enough ilvl.

This is a nice tool to see the ilvl necessary, so technically i could achieve the +3fire mastery...

Dude, this chat was enlightening.. thanks btw... making some research and speaking with people here, I will make a video talking about all that (trying to avoid the coding part of it cause I think doesn't fit on a YouTube entretaining etc...) but i will try my best to explain all these parameters
