If youre playing trade and killing mobs, favor tax won't be an issue, unless youre buying stuff 24/7. That might be a problem for RMT'ers but not for JSP users.
1 time trade wont affect it either, they prevented flipping which is also a good decision on them, but that just makes items way more valuable. If i post a 3LP unique thats for a META build i will bet anything
that it will be SUPER insanely valuable BECUASE of no flipping. 3-4 LP items will be selling for so much its crazy.
They have already reduced RMT'ing by more than any other company has before - i applaud that
But they cannot stop JSP from buying/selling items freely.

To prevent item flipping, market manipulation, monopolies, and prevent progressing just by sitting in town (in combination with Favor requirements); We want the main way to progress in Last Epoch to be getting out there and killing enemies.
monopolies and market manipulation are inherently a part of a free economy and will always exist. if you restrict this, it does more harm than good. he's also implying a free economy you can't progress by killing monsters? wut
Kain is also assuming there's something wrong with just playing the market in-town (which a player should have every right to do). however, since it's their game they can have their own values/beliefs
the entire point of a good trade is sometimes flipping it as well for some profit. with all these restrictions in place, the economy will be... not an economy with buyers/sellers, but a glorified NPC with set prices. this will not end well i think.
could be wrong, but red flags everywhere
