The players hate it. This is alllll the owners and its all about money. Bottom line.

Or maybe the players have become too soft. Feel like they are bigger than the team. Players used to play regardless if they were sick or hurt. Now Embiids vagina hurts and he needs days off. People pay lots of money to watch their favorite players play only for them to sit out. Every player should get penalized for every game they miss. Kind of like when most of us don't go work we wont get paid either.

If you get hurt on the job you get paid. It's called workers comp.

Butler is another player in line to miss out on awards, but he is another guy who loves playing less than 60 games and has already said he doesn't give a fuck about individual awards.

I don't see how a player who fails to entertain for 25-30% of season deserves it over another player out there working his fucking ass off for let's say for 90% of the season. They probably deserve it more...

it's good for the league to set boundaries for regular season awards that are completely separated from the playoffs. the playoffs are an entirely different game
