For sure. Start over. Our biggest bullet we need to dodge is NOT signing someone like fields for the next 5 years. A quarterback who is alllllmost good enough is a curse. You don't want an Andy Dalton kinda guy whose TOP upside is getting you to the first round of the playoffs and never any further. Ask the Giants if they are happy being stuck with Daniel Jones for the next half decade. That's the real shit that sinks your team.

Now maaaaybe Fields could be better with the proper coach, I'm just not willing to risk 5 years to see if a 4th coach could get more out of him. Move on.

Coaching isn’t everything. Look at Belichick, everyone thought he had atleast something to do with Tom Brady’s success. Turns out Tom was just that damn good and Belichick was mediocre.

Fields is an average QB, sure.
I think his ceiling is higher than most in a slump rn though.
