Serious question. Occasionally I would see a really old Honda with a giant exhaust with all four wheels sticking out of frame with racing stripes. Why the loud exhaust? Is it pleasing for the driver?

Honestly most bikes are loud so the cars on the highway don't run you over by accident in their blind spots

ya i have heard that bullshit lie also.

you dont hear a bike unless it is in front of you or right next to you. if anything when a group of bikes are together the first loud bike to pass a car scares them and makes them swerve into another bike.

they are loud for attention only.
