he is elite, yes, but he is also still kid. mc and crosb were ready to play NHL immediatly, berar is not, he will get plenty of games next year but hes not anywhere close to as good as mcdavi and crosby were on their rookie season.

I'm giving the kid a shot but I too am doubtful. I still think he will get 15-20 goals and 40-50 assist unless he wants to be known as another #1 overall who couldn't transition to the pro's.
Really depends on the team and what 4 line mates he's working with.
If he ends up on the Hawks I feel bad for him no Kaner in a 10 year rebuild the guys talent will be wasted.
Ends up on the Ducks and him and Zegras try and make magic but I won't be expecting much.
Jackets and maybe with Laine and Gaudreau they can make an 8 seed.
