Fire Mastery is applied twice for melee attacks. Leaving it at 1 hard point would sacrifice much fire damages. Espacially if you use some prebuff items for enchant.
But indeed light remains the main source.
Actually, many duelers could also equip abs items against a pure light melee sorc, it's more difficult to negate when you're dealing both fire+light.
But reaching 95es is a high benefit, so I leave anybody's choice.
Its not THAT hard to do it.. (sorb both fire and light )
and with lvl 50 enchant and lvl 50 fire mastery your looking at 8.1k-9.4k fire dmg if i've got the right values ( might wanna check these ^^ )
with 8 points less ( amount of points to reach 95 es ) in fire mastery its 6.3k - 7.3k
This is with make believe skills as your not going to get that high level enchant/fire mastery, but the point of this is to show that enchants damage is never going to compare to that of dreams.
With 50k light damage if the other person uses t-gods - your looking at 585 average damage per hit
If the other person is kinna smart and uses Lo + wisp instead ( which is max gm limit ) - its 500 avg dmg per hit
So even if they do sorb its maybe not totally hopeless, but landing 1 hit i guess is kinna hard with zeal sorc anyway ^^
