i liked the beta a lot, did a ton of pvp and at the end a bit of leveling.
there are a lot of skills and builds to do when you consider the fact that theres not only the utility skills and ultimate, but theres also different weapon sets to use that give different skill sets
but the game, in terms of pvp, is too revolved around comboing in my opinion. ran around with an elementalist, and once i figured out a full combo i could just jump on people and kill them while constantly blinding them. they just died, really fast.
interrupting heals or specific skills isnt something you can do very easily, because the cast times are too fast, and it doesnt pay off enough to interrupt them.
the idea of mesmer trying to "confuse the enemy" doesnt work out the way its suppose to. illusions are everywhere, yet you can spot the real mesmer so easily. even if you arent tricked, mesmers hurt and control the fight too much for it to matter.
leveling was fun, but the same events repeat too much, and some of the harder events (like the underground group bosses ivor trueshot and the other guy) dont give much of a better reward.
i hope they end up fixing this stuff, because i see a lot of potential in the game and even with those problems, i enjoyed it very much.
