For the record with offer sheets, it doesn't matter what clauses the Flyers put in it, he won't have a NMC or NTC if Nashville matches.

the funny part will be if there's a lockout and the preds match, and the entire big money first year of the deal gets voided and they can trade him next summer.

Weber will receive $14 mil in each of 1st 4 years. $12 mil in next 2 yrs. $6mil in following 4 yrs...then $3mil and $1mil, $1mil,$1mil,$1mil

so it's basically a ten year deal...

They have to spend $14 mil just to get to the floor, plus they had an offer for Suter (and Parise) on the table that was similar to the Wild's offer. I think they would have the cash, the only big thing for them might be the $20 million (or 21?) signing bonus, but even that should be manageable
