Reasoning: i hate betting unders in general, and i especially hate betting the under in a warriors game, but my gut and previous experience is telling me the under is the play for a few reasons. First reason, warriors are on a back to back road game, which is tough, but even tougher when that second team is the grizzlies at home in the “grind house”. Second reason, the warriors have hit the under 8 out of the last 10 times while playing the grizzlies on the road, and this total of 214 is the highest its been in the past 10 away games for the warriors on the road in memphis. Third reason, all starters of the warriors played in the fourth quarter last night against the pelicans, so I expect fatigue to be present today. Lastly, the grizzlies are a defense first, grind it out team, so i expect them to not play at the warriors pace.

reasoning: this should be an easy cover for sure. nuggets rank 6th in the league at scoring off the fast break, while washington is the 6th worst in the league at defending it. washington struggles with dominant bigs, embiid clearly was dominant over gortat, so i expect a more refined and polished jokic to absolutely abuse the rim tonight. washington is allowing 43% shooting from deep, which is fucking terrible, look for the nuggets to abuse the shit out of that tonight. another glaring positive for the nuggets tonight is their bench, which is ranked 6th in the league scoring wise, while washingtons bench ranks 20th, ouch. we all saw the east semi finals last year, we saw that the wizards bench is absolute dogshit. the wizards are 0-5 ats their past 5 games, and 2-4 ats their last 6 in denver. washington struggled against the sixers and the pistons at home, which if we remember from last year, was where they were playing like a whole different team. they had a tremendously long win streak going in washington, but every time they hit the road, it typically ended up with another check mark in the losses column. take the nuggets to comfortably win this game tonight and cover the small line.
