So I'm getting pretty impatient with the search for dracs or a good exile shield. I may soon attempt the mini-ubers (Or even just regular baal, or dclone for warmup) using only the lifetap charges on the marrowwalks. 42 secs there. Ofc, I lose all the CB from the boot slot, so duress is a must, along with CB gloves. I will very likely be crafting gloves as a priority in this next round of crafts.

@Makkertest - Kingslayer is indeed another possibility! Make it in a Phase blade?

I'm going to go for everything on /p8, and I still have no renewable source of lifetap. Kill speed is therefore going to be a huge deal, as is safety when I have to stop smiting to recast LT. Could Prudence + kingslayer be greater than duress & grief in this situation? Lilith & Meph are my big worries.

Couldn't you put cube in inventory and pre-bo then put life tap wand on?

I'm thinking of using my barb for BO. VMware is cool, and it is what I would do on a new ladder.

I like gear, and the satisfaction of building a character from scratch with only self found gear. Borrowing another chars pre-buff BO for one UT fight doesn't count IMO My weird rules. My barb found at least three pairs of dracs. I have a pair waiting in my increased stash even. It just feels so dirty, and I've worked a hell of a lot on this guy at this point.

Oh yeah... marrowws are level 12 life tap... 42 secs, vs. level 5, 25 secs with a wand... Ofc, my wand has 97 charges or somesuch. I need to practice the technique of switching in order to recast. Still would much rather dracs or exile, being HC and all.
