I can't really speak for Sous' mindset but if a full 5 days had passed between when you were challenged and when Sous posted the update and he had not heard from you regarding the challenge then he technically did it correctly. Would it have been nice for him to shoot you guys a message to figure out what was going on? Yes. But he doesn't have to.

We had a big thing about this like 2 years ago and it's impossible to make everyone happy. We ended up compromising and changing the rules to 5 day duel period with no extensions to try to appease the people wanting more time to complete duels and the people wanting to expedite the ladder process and eliminate extensions.

I think this is the best compromise, give it another shot. But if you want removed lmk

Yeah, from the beginning, I believed his actions to not be incorrect. Just kinda felt that the whole thing was a little unfair, which is fine. But, after seeing Scott's ruling on tony and lacap's match, I felt things to be even more unfair.

With all of our lives being busy and all of us having different needs, it can be tough to keep things going; so, rules like this are important. And, in an effort to keep things going and not disrupt current happenings, I'll just take a break from the ladder. I still don't agree with Sous, but I have already washed the sand out of my vagina and am carrying on happily with my day

3) You are allowed to challenge up to 2 ranks above you until you get to #3 then you must duel everybody to get to #1.
4) You must PM the other party about the challenge, then post the challenge in this thread here.
5) If you Issued the Challenge Must wait 12 hours after Completion of Challenge to Issue another Challenge.
6) If you lose a challenge you must wait 48 hours to re-challenge the same person.
7) 5-Day Dodge rule (AFK, No-reply, No-show = Auto-loss) 2 consecutive Dodges = Removed from ladder.
8) Post all scores of challenges in this topic thread, either one of you can do it.
If you cannot complete your challenge on time it is your responsibility to PM your challenger and inform them. Then post in this thread asking for an extension. If you fail to do this, the dodge rule will be enforced to simply keep the ladder moving.* symbol for 1 dodge applied

<GM Melee Duel Rules>

3) A challenge will be best 2/3 sets, first to 6 must win each set by 2 duels.
4) If both players die it is a draw

hey guys i no i aint been on much so i am gonna have to step down from my spot on the ladder due to my son needs me more rite now
as of you that dont no me my son is five years old and legally blind and he has started school this year and just got his seeing stick today so im gonna have to be teahing him with it at home
and help him as much as possible i will not be quiting playing diablo as of now just gonna be takeing a break from ladder ill be on and off the game
