Its a Pro mod. This car is not.

Who said he was pro mod? He runs on a 10.5 tire.

And my point was why have a 106 when he could make way over 1300rwhp with a single 88 lol

My ava pic is a 106, it can support 2500++ hp lol

They actually just came out with a 113 or somethin like that, cant wait to see a build for that

Turbonetics just debuted a 120+mm turbo I believe.

He is running a 106. I don't have exact dyno numbers on the car because it is not completed. There are LS1's running over 1800rwhp with similar turbo setups. I can't speak for the cars owner. The whole idea is an EFI car running 7's without being a full tube chassis. It's been done before. This is just a really nice example so I posted it.

All im saying is 106 is overkill imo unless he plans on making 2000+ to the wheels


More exciting is Tim Lynch trying to break into the 3's in the 8th!!!

He is upping cubes to the 700's range and using a whole new head design.
He was putting down around 3500hp before so im excited to see what hes working with now.

Dude has balls putting all that power down on such a small tire

Mike Moran just went 5.97 @ 250 in the 1/4 the other day. First turbo door slammer in the 5's. Twin 94's.


Regardless, I'm sure Kurt Urban knows exactly what he is doing with the 106 on this car. He has built a quite a few 7 and 8 second hydraulic roller cammed LS1's.
