oh yeah they get to run the track before they actually race

i'm not sure if the driver gets to go on it or just the guide guy

he had to get those notes from somewheres

in the WRC the driver and codriver get to walk the track once to write down the diff of all the turns, mb they let them use a off road vehicle of some kind but they dint get to use there cars. the first time they are in there cars on the course is when the time trials start, essentially a blind rally with no practice run

in the SCCA rally here in the US pretty sure the driver and codriver get to take the car on the track once and do the same thing making note of all the corners

edit: imo WRC drivers are by far some of the best drivers in the world, u have to have some serious balls and skills to drive that fast thru a course u have never driven befor

im guessing u didnt mean to quote me, i didnt watch the vids cuz im on dial up and takes forever to download but if its a WRC car i garantee u its no auto its a sequential gear box, a manual trans with computer controled clutch.

That is a big block. They have been around for almost 50 years. Also that was 1200bhp. This is probably 2000bhp.

Just found out that it is a 106mm turbo and upon completion will be hunting low 7's@ over 200mph.
