Now I know you're a moron.
You haven't driven the car, I haven't driven the car, so all we have to go by are the experiences of other people.
Here's an analogy you might understand. A movie comes out and receives an incredible amount of positive reviews and attention. It might not be your cup of tea, but you figure you will go see it anyways to judge it on your own, but until you do that, you have to trust that those reviews are true.
Even reviewed of the brZ itself tell everyone to forget the sheets, forget the specs because this car has an incredibly better feeling than the cars they have driven.
No, we don't just have to go off of experiences by other people. If you know anything about cars (it's glaringly obvious you don't) you can come to several accurate conclusions just by reading over the specs.
I don't go see a movie if it doesn't appeal to me. Why the fuck would I spend $20 just to see if some critics are right? I'll do the sensible thing and wait for it to come out on DVD. On the contrary, most of the movies I enjoy get shitty reviews from the professional critics. If the trailer looks good TO ME I'll go see it. If it doesn't, I don't care how good THEY say it is, it is most likely not for me.
Just how impressionable are you? Christ.

It wasn't made to be a fast car....... Are you fucking retarded? Even all the reviews point out that the only flaw is a bit of a lack of power which Subaru is already addressing.
And it wouldnt be just marketing since owners say the same thing
Holy shit, people are dumb.
I don't need to drive it to know that it is missing 60-70hp
IMO. No amount of nuthugging fanboys and magazine writers can change the cold hard physics involved. We've been through this several times. Stop trying to change my mind. I'm not disputing the handling, braking, and driving pleasure. It's missing power. Period.
EDIT: Here's some physics for you. The listed curb weight is 2600-2760lbs depending upon spec and options. Rounding up the Civic SI like 197hp to 200 and using a middle option 2700lbs gives us a 13.8-14.6 1/4 mile ET with a 96-98mph trap speed depending on which calculator you use. The ones with faster listed ET's are set up for drag cars that have nearly unlimited traction leaving the line. Most street cars (all stock ones really) can't hit those numbers. The second calculator uses a little slower 60ft which is better for street cars. It says 14.50. Any way you slice it most driver's will be in the 14's with the manual and the automatic will probably be right there as well.
That is SLOW as BALLS. Think stock fox body mustang slow. Think busted ass LT1 F-body slow. Think bolt on RCSB L76
Silverado slow. Get over it. I'm going to feel bad for you when someone goes out in one of these and gets stomped by a pickup truck.
