afghanistan - war to make peace..weird argument...sad for all the afghans being killed..
israel/palestine - Same quigmire as always, sad for all the Palestinians being killed or denied food, medicine, water...etc
missile defense in eastern europe - make no sense, Europeans don´t wan´t it...besides...we all know it was not targeted at Iran, who has no missiles, but Russia... lol

That is probably the most anecdotal way of looking at the issue possible. It is very unlikely that our involvement in the region is actually stopping much. There are rather obvious logistical advantages for the various terrorist entities to keeping our armies there as long as possible.

Afghanistan is an utter failure.

Afghanistan today is in a worst stage than Iraq has been for the past two years. He has virtually done nothing then toss a couple thousand troops there.

Afghanistan at its best was never at as decent of a stage as Iraq at its worst.

btw, that's how you actually use the word worst.

Afghanistan was bearly a battle, or an insurgent Zone throughout really, the entire war. Up until the recent half a year, add or take a couple months.
