But that's the issue tbh... both sides have stopped engaging in debate and so the rift will keep getting wider.

eh. i don't think endless deserves to be on the spectrum. he only passed as a righty because no alt righters were around to copy pasta.

the sub has begun to normalize, santa cam and icemage are all starting to post better and many of the leftists have stopped engaging shitposters. 2016 is gonna take a long time to fade but i can feel it.

I mean just in general. The right have become so incredibly outrageous that the left just point and laugh and the right are doing the same back. It's a fucking clownshow.

i think once a real moderate is put up in 2020 that will be the test. whether its primaries or general, will the people choose compromise or polarization.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that. I'd be surprised if we don't get extremists on both sides.
