nope just jobs in welding, IT, plumbing, electric, etc.

or i guess they can keep sitting around collecting food stamps waiting for factory jobs to come back from mexico while demonizing "welfare junkies" on facebook for 12 hours a day. TBH it doesn't make a difference to me, the poorer the uneducated white masses get in this country the higher my purchasing power rises

The irony is not lost on me when I watch a bunch of cats who grew up in an era of participation trophies and elementary school graduation ceremonies have to suddenly deal with the real world of winners and losers. I know we can't right now, but what I have said is we should have started decades ago funding alternate fuel sources much more than we have been so that by this point we could have stopped drilling.

Unfortunately an investment that takes 30+ years to pay off isn't popular.

I've had to disable seeing posts from one of my otherwise mature friends. We had a discussion on Wednesday night after the election and he was fairly distraught about the results. I made some fairly compelling statements and arguments with historical backing as to why this wasn't the end of the world. I made some comments about how to move forward in dealing with Trump supporters, Trump administration, and racists/bigots in general--something to the effect of "Hatred will only spawn more hatred. You need to fight hatred with love." Then I shared a nice personal story about a time I accomplished that.

Next time I log on Facebook, I'm greeted with this gem:

10/10, would be passive aggressive again. At least have the balls to call me out, I'd have had some respect if he wanted to continue the discourse. But if you can't even do that, and you resort to raging about a message of love and compassion on the interwebs to score cool points with the other SJW's? Your mentality is why this nation is so shitty right now.
