The middle east isn't getting massacred just parts of Syria and iraq.

Oh, thousands of people from only two countries, as long as it's not the whole middle east massacre is fine, gotcha.

And who can stop it besides us? It bothers me a lot when people get massacred...

Agreed.

Other countries could grow a pair. We are already bombing with someone like Barack Obama we won't go to war hes just worried about his legacy.

Time for the US to get balls-deep in ISIS.

I would link an article and type something eloquent but I'm pissed off right now.

Need to do more than bomb.

The real question is...., will the middle east EVER not be fked up?

You could never destroy an idea , ISIS , like every other terror groups , with the help of the western media , publish their idea world wide .
Even if you kill every single one of them , someone will call himself ISIS again and it will never end .

What about the hundreds of thousands dead during our invasion of Iraq? Or the hundreds of thousands from our sanctions against Iraq before that?

How about the fact that this all started because we armed Saddam Hussein to fight Iran over oil. Yea when Iran tried to nationalise their oil reserves we went in and overthrew their democratically elected government and installed the Shah of Iran. How many did he kill? Then when that ended we empowered Saddam setting the stage for the invasion of Kuwait.

Interference after interference by 'merica totaling up a body count that has to be over a million. What about all of those people? Killed by you and me. When we elect people then let them have free reign we are responsible for their actions.

Let's end that now.

I think that the isolationists are missing a crucial piece to the puzzle here...the Middle East HATES ISIS. They WANT us to help them out. The only reason ISIS is an issue is because we are LETTING them.

Well, I sure don't see the neighboring powers flying sorties now.

It's a sad day in PaRD when I find myself agreeing with Yakir.

Need to destroy the idea. The only way to do that is with improved infrastructure, prosperity and education.

Are you advocating for zero military intervention in the IS controlled areas?

Why do people insist on blaming a single entity? Are our minds so small that we can't accept that it's a combination of things? Reminds me of the "economic crisis" debate....

a combination of what ? combination of 2003 "war-massacre" by republican inbreed only attracted by oil control & sponsorized by 8x american oil companies ?

from french wiki:

Quote
In 1973, Saddam launched the "National Campaign for the Eradication of Illiteracy" an ambitious plan to fight against illiteracy. The school is free, compulsory and secular for boys and girls. In less than eighteen months, the number of teachers reached a total of sixty-two thousand, otherwise the number of girls is multiplied by three. UNICEF recognizes that Iraq has virtually eradicated illiteracy and has pushed the enrollment of Iraqis to a still unpublished in the Middle East level. In 1982, Unesco awards a trophy to Iraq for the literacy effort that was shown by the government towards girls. Nearly 95% of girls were enrolled.

In 1977, 70% of pharmacists and 46% of dentists were women. Furthermore, intellectual and scientific elite is rapidly emerging. Unesco says:

"The educational system in Iraq before 1991 was one of the best performers in the region, with close to 100% in primary education gross enrollment rate and a high literacy level for both sexes. Higher education was quality, particularly in science and technology institutions, and faculty and competent motivĂ©4. "

By his difficult childhood, he wanted the whole country can read and write, because to him free education was a step towards equality.

now guess who are the assholes that needed to finish off this country in 2003 ?
who are the assholes responsible of the actual shit ?

When i see that im sorry , oh yes please, excuse me to not supporting your ideas xD

I'm saying I'm sick of seeing the same Islamic extremist sentiment wrapped up in a different package. If the IS is destroyed then they have already garnered enough support that a new group will spring up in their place and even if they were hated another group would step into the power vacuum. Military action is ongoing and only increases negative sentiment. At some point something has to change or we will just keep going round in circles.
