This is indeed about being butthurt over people having different opinions. Chick-fil-A is against gay marriage, so what? Most of this country is against gay marriage.
They aren't leading a crusade against it, and they're against it for their religious reasons, not bigotry.
Getting all angsty and whiny just because they don't share your opinion, well, there isn't anyone in the world who shares all your opinions.
They could have taken that same call to arms and directed it at some corporation or industry that actually is doing something unethical or discriminatory
Instead they're just making fools of themselves ahead of an election season
Wrong about 'most of country being against' gay marriage. Five years ago, yeah. But now its 50/50 or even a slight edge in favor of gay marriage. And its been trending this way for many years. Gay marriage will be legal in all 50 states within the next 5-10 years. The courts will eventually decide in favor of civil rights. They always do (like I said, eventually).
You don't get to decide what is considered bigotry. Your assertion that discrimination for religious reasons does not equal bigotry is absurd. The very nature of an individual religion or cult is to set yourselves apart from the rest...in other words, to discrimate. Thirty years ago the Mormon Church's official position was that black people could not be members. Furthemore, the actual Book of Mormon say that black people have black skin because they were cursed by god to wear the mark of Cain or something like that.
Sounds like you're the one getting angsty and whiney. Why not just let them protest? You go on and on about what fools they are because they don't share your opinions. Free speech goes both ways, right?
