Thoughts? I personally think if your goal is to try and make people feel "uncomfortable", you're acting like a child. The showing that happened on Wednesday did not affect anyone (outside of long lines). To purposely go to chik-fil-a and want everyone to watch you kiss.. dumb.

For the record - I don't like watching heterosexuals kiss in public either.

I am against public displays of affection, it makes me uncomfortable.

Meh.

People are clearly too butthurt that someone has a different opinion from them.

Of course, it is also becoming commonplace for leftists to financially attack people they disagree with too. (Disclose act, anyone?)

I expected better from you. This isn't just about having a different opinion.

This is indeed about being butthurt over people having different opinions. Chick-fil-A is against gay marriage, so what? Most of this country is against gay marriage.
They aren't leading a crusade against it, and they're against it for their religious reasons, not bigotry.
Getting all angsty and whiny just because they don't share your opinion, well, there isn't anyone in the world who shares all your opinions.

They could have taken that same call to arms and directed it at some corporation or industry that actually is doing something unethical or discriminatory
Instead they're just making fools of themselves ahead of an election season

Isn't this getting to be a bit too big for just a pseudo-event?

I mean nothing even happened, just a stunt to get attention.

I read that it was also a world record for sales in one day.. not sure if this was true or not.

Either way.. still impressive :)

Funny article on the subject - http://freedomoutpost.com/2012/08/chick-fil-a-sets-world-record-but-still-needs-our-support/
