I guess it's because only a few selected people abuse this bug/exploit/whatever it is.
If it doesn't hurt blizzards image too hard, why do something about it? It's not like there's a massive legit player base anymore.

Imho it should be published in the near future. Sure it will be heavily exploited, but at least there is a better reason to react to the problem. it would force blizz to react, because ladder resets wouldn't have a point, when everybody can create everything he wants in no time (Which is worse than the botting problem)

That beeing said, i respect your argument against the publishing

this is exactly the point.
I have been around for years and I really enjoy playing D2 over and over again.

Sancorro saves the game by not releasing the method, thanks for that!
As for selling his items on jsp: Why do you blame him for it? As he said, he makes "dreams come true" for some people!

I think what he does is fine as long as he doesn't start selling GFG items for super cheap, which would ruin the market.

1. its a dead game
2. [friends of] devs that worked on it years ago whether they still work at bliz or not abuse it.

i play WoW on/off an know gm's that abuse shit and sell rare items. so #2 is my bet
