A: The Hourly Raffle is designed to be a fun way to win forum gold, and help remove excess forum gold from the system.

Q: How much is a ticket?
A: Each ticket costs 5 FG.

Q: How much does the pot increase for every ticket purchased?
A: The formula is quite complicated. Part of the FG increases the pot, the rest goes to the site.

Q: I matched all three numbers!!! But I didn't win?!
A: You must match all three numbers in the order they are drawn to win.

Q: May we purchase more than one ticket per drawing?
A: You may purchase as many tickets as you can afford for each drawing.

Q: If someone wins, what is the new pot value?
A: When a user wins the pot, the pot is reset to 1,000 FG.

Q: What are the chances of winning?
A: You have a 1:42840 chance of winning the Hourly Raffle.

Q: Those odds are not right, I did the math and there is a 1:x chance to win!
A: The odds are 1:42840. 36*35*34 = 42840.

Q: Do I get a prize for matching two numbers?
A: Yes, check the bottom of the Hourly Raffle page for details on partial winnings.

Q: Can someone choose the same numbers as me?
A: Yes, more than one person can have the same numbers.

Q: What happens if two or more users win?
A: In this case, the pot will be split among winners.

Q: Will njaguar add more features to the Hourly Raffle?
A: njaguar has said he may add additional functionality in the future.

Q: What is the "Buy This Ticket For the Next X Raffle(s)"?
A: This allows you to automatically purchase the same numbers that you have up there now for the next X raffle(s), it automatically purchases the same numbers for each raffle afterwards.
For instance, let's say your lucky numbers are 1, 2, 3 - so you pick these three numbers, and you want to purchase them for the next 24 raffles, you would put 24 in the text box, and it would automatically pre-purchase those numbers for the next 24 raffles!

Q: I accidentally purchased 500 tickets! Can I get a refund?
A: Unfortunately, we cannot refund the price of purchased tickets.
