Is this game worth starting brand new this late?

On playstation 5.

I've played eso on and off for years, (mostly on) but due to recent updates and lackluster expansions, the games seems pretty dead and I'm burnt out.

I was thinking of trying neverwinter as it fits the criteria of mmo I like.

Is neverwinter on ps still active and have a healthy player base?

If so, is it worth getting into at this time or is it another eso tragedy pf crappy expansions and crap updates.

I'm also open to other suggestions, but I only play on console.

Also played ff14 until 90, but there's something about it I just cant get into. I get why people like it but simply not for me.

Its not hard to get up to the top. Char grind is easy, if you have alot of currency in other games just transfer via d2jsp and bam youre doing top dungeons! Finding a good ACTIVE guild (doesnt matter of theyre small, just neex like 5-12 active players) is extremely helpful. I play xbox, but im sure PS works the same.

Hows the player base?

Biggest thing I noticed about eso is the player base is less for end game.

I'm not expecting it to be bigger than eso but I expect a healthy player base for ps5

Theres alot of ways to network, best is guild though. So you know each others goals already and when to align them to expedite something. If that makes sense?
