highest density + kill speed

typically chaos or cows
maybe trav

or lower kurast if you're a weak sorc

Trav and Chaos give good results. Haven't really found anything from cows. Arcane is good too.

If I was to farm just for runes and didn't care about XP I would do Arcane just killing normal wisps, then Trav and WP to act 4 or kill Meph and hit the red portal. Rinse and repeat.

If you’re on single player and can’t, either use hero editor or farm p8 lk with static maps
