Lowest blocking chance from paladin elites shields
Inconsistent damage range, too low min too much max.
The only usage of Vortex shield ever was,
1818 Def Exile 65% Edmg Eth bug shield vs High Defense Melees.

Sacred Targe, Sacred Rondache = Smite Shields
Maximum blocking chance & ballanced damage.
Requirements on sacred targe also best ones.
(Sacred Rondache 0,5dmg better from all shields)

Kurast shield and after that Zakarum shield.

Vortex for smiters is on the bottom,
you can learn this easy friend.

Find Sacred Targe or Sacred Rondache of Colossus,
4 Sox 50-60Life
and Find Rare version one too 2sox with 2/30/20/60-65Edmg 20-40Life and you will have Trophies for smites,
however Phoenix and Spirit are topers.

I think in D2R they fixed Phoenix Runeword Firestorm casting, it didnt reacting/interrupting Smiters attacks and Smite attack do proper damage now.

Phoenix Sacred Targe shield 465% Edmg is best smite shield probably at D2r.

Spirit Sacred Targe Shield 65% Edmg is still and forever Most Ballanced
and Viable shield for any Smiters too.

In the Gify image is for sure 465% Enhanced Damage Smite attack by Phoenix Runeword.

Also its Hyperion Shield tho in spartans.

I know y’all are like really not smart but a fortitude has 300% Ed, that’s all I will say, oh and 5% lr.

And fortitude 300% + 465% phoenix has 765% Enhanced Damage.

765% vs yours 433%

Damage range? I'm sure smite damaged is averaged from min/max

otherwise yes.

I haven't tested CoA + fort + phoenix vs shako + fort + JSTOC. Has anyone?
