Frw Question- Maybe Im Dumb - Topic

Fellow JSPers- tell a noob like me what FRW does for a character that teleports. Why do people want FRW on a sorc/Druid/paladin circlet that has fcr and they will be teleporting anyway.

Where are they running faster when they are teleporting?

it's desirable in pvp as in legacy d2, stunlocks such as mindblast, leap, etc were being broken by WSG (weapon switch glitch). pressing W while running would get you out of stuns and more frw would make you desynch away out of lock.
in d2r, there's no more wsg from my knowledge but frw is still desirable in pvp for certain situations

on 0:50 and few seconds later you can see mindblast locks getting broken by wsg

I just asnwered a simular topic.

Walk/run style is sometimes used as an way to avoid an enemy offensive play at the same time as you position urself close enough the punnish the offensive with attacks of ur own. As well as it Will drag the enemy meatshield(summons) off his location so he becomes more vulnerable.
