It’s much more complicated than describing few game aspects. A good game is a model of a world and the whole is more than the sum of it’s parts. It should be built from the inside.
It cannot be designed in PowerPoint by glueing together certain “MVP goals of an aRPG”. Yet, I am sure that’s exactly how D4 was designed by these corporate middle-managers
