Most likely not playing if it stays this way of limited trades n PvM non stop! Price tag too high if game fail to deliver! D2R I paid $80 for 2 times one for console n 1 for Pc because I know I like it.

For me best D4 could be a combination of few other games. I would take crafting, gamble and trade system from D2. Gold economy and blacksmith from D3, also rifts but just as optional end game possibility, not the only one. I would take daily tasks from Diablo Immortal, gems which should be super rare and level them up would require months. I would take whole end game from path of exile, season events, runes system by which you can have dozens of builds for one char, char stats system which is huge, holes with colors, what means that for certain build you need certain unique item but also certain number of holes in given colors connected in certain way. That would be a game, which I could be interested for years and 4-6 months season would be not enought.

Like D2 and D3 before the removal of AH and trading, hard, darker look, open trade, good end game, hard to reach max lv cap, good items, balanced drop rates, open world is good new thing imo, everything is there or been there in D2 and D3. No need to experiment much, but some new things are welcome if they don't affect core arpg game system.

D1s atmosphere
D2s PvP
D3s smoothness
PoEs complexity

I'm so fed up with their frankenstein approach like "atmosphere of d1", "complexity of d2", "combat of d3".

It's obvious that they can't come up with new ideas anymore and make refreshing games while keeping them entertaining. Their lack of creativity is sad af, they just (try to) rip off ideas there and there from other existing games but in the end it feels like "another of those games" we already played 20 times before. Game lacks personality.

They don't even need to reinvent the wheel, but to give the game its own take of what should be an arpg, but it feels just like a cheap ripoff d3 x lost ark with less content

I would make it like d2 with its lottery rng but complex for settings like poe and trade like d2 free everything anything can be traded.
