My upcoming build:

ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 4080 - OC Edition
ASUS Prime Z790-P
Kingston FURY Beast DDR5 5600 Mhz - 2x 16 GB
Kingston FURY Renegade - SSD - 2 TB
Intel Core i7-13700KF
Arctic Liquid Freezer II 420 (planning for this to be in the top as exhaust)
Fractal Design Meshify 2 RGB
NZXT C850 Gold

I'm gaming on 1080p (my monitor cannot be bigger than 24").

I'm aiming for a solid pc with not too much noise and good airflow. Looking for recommendations to improve this before I order.

i'd prob go with a rx 7900 xtx unless you need the features the 4080 provides and save a bunch of money there, you won't need to go that hard with 1080 gaming for sure.
the rest looks good though, i'd probably go with a 2tb nvme samsung evo drive instead of the kingston fury

(and even a 7900 xtx is most likely overkill for most 1080p games)

Thanks for the feedback. I've always prefered Nvidia cards, so I'll stick with that. Could go down to 4070 ti, but don't mind it being slightly overkill.

I'll look into the SSD.

if your gaming at 1080p see if you can get a good deal on a 3060Ti/3070/3070Ti new gen cards are overkill atm or just wait for amd/nvidia to release lower models of the new gen.
