still at the start of the video right now but so far it's pretty accurate

the intro is regarding NFTs which he didnt really talk about that aspect but is more of a mean to launder money, same way as traditional art is
like, politicians with big pockets releasing their "painting" (which is most likely really really bad) and sell it for millions so that way they have the proof of where the money came from (from that sell) even tho they basically just bought it from themselves

NFTs were basically forced into a market that never wanted them, actual artists never welcomed them and it just ended up giving a bad reputation to other technologies that didnt have anything to do with any of that

the bitcoin segment he talking about how satoshi kinda shilled himself as the newborn jesus and that it's a revolutionary technology or whatever
which isnt true, he was a dev and never shilled it that way but more as a proof of concept (which ended up getting adoption)
then only years later, people do what people do and the whole cult worshipping became a thing

the original cryptoanarchists and cipherpunks are indeed not on bitcoin anymore as he explained pretty well that
bitcoin became hijacked by centralized entities
the 7 transactions per seconds on layer 1 doesnt scale properly compared to visa/mastercards networks
where am at in the video he didnt mention lightning network just yet which is just bitcoin's centralized way to increase a little bit that number of possible transactions per seconds
(which as i mentioned in an other thread, bitcoin's solutions to bitcoin are creating more issues to bitcoin than they are solving)

the deflationary model prevent from people actually using it as a currency (which it was supposed to be that)

the current fiat system is also wasting a bunch of electricity and bitcoin originally would have been better if it kept to 1 CPU = 1 vote, basically being mined on everyday computer, phones, laptops, hardware that people already have
rather than ASICs which are single purpose specialized hardware only made for the sole purpose of mining bitcoin and becoming e-waste after few months

and so far he explained pretty well how bitcoin right now is just a mean for some people to just make more dollar/euro than being a currency on it's own

as a cryptoanarchist / cipherpunk myself, i agree with that video ;)
(well, only at the half of it for now, still watching)

it's literally just a number
2,100,000,000,000,000 bitcoin atomic units (21 millions with 8 decimals)

fiat = hyper inflation
bitcoin = hyper deflation

both are fundamentally bad, in bitcoin's case for example it just prevent it from being used as a currency
if bitcoin were to implement tail emission that would be an other story tho but it's not

>**- only 1 node**

yeah, centralization is bad
however bitcoin doesnt have as many full nodes as it should either
most users are just using remote nodes (mostly owned by entities like chainalysis) rather than running their own and having the full blockchain data locally

>**- 1% of holders own 30%**

bitcoin is also very much wealth centralized
and there is no solution to that, even with cryptocoins that been using technologies such as governence mechanism with block reward growing relative to how many miners on the network, everything still ends up following the capitalism model, there is no solution to that

[x] doubt
if you said doge, maybe cause at least it's on it's own blockchain rather than being some token on some other blockchain but even then
with fiat, at least physical cash, it doesnt broadcast to the whole world all your transactions

The guy in the video didn't even read the whitepaper, don't expect anything from 0 second research ppl that cry at useless NFTs made by shilling celebrities.

Bro don't tell me you bought $5000 of Logan Paul's zoo pets?

No need to get triggered I am simply offering a side of crypto and Nfts that people gloss over. I am all for bitcoin and want it to transcend the dollar but just don't want to hear some degenerate gambler to hodl while being overdosed on hopium. Mkay.
