On ring, FCR Str life and life rep are suffixes. That’s 4. Can’t have 4 suffixes. Can only have 3 suffixes and 3 prefixes on rares. With mana, all resist, single resist and attack rating being the valuable prefixes on rings.

Crafts can roll with either 3 suffixes and 1 prefix or 2 prefixes and 2 suffixes or 1 suffix and 3 prefixes. All on top of the base stats the craft of that type can roll with. For example caster amulets can have any of those stat combos plus 5-10fcr, 4-10 mana regeb and 10-20 mana.

your not wrong, 2/20/60/str or 2/20/60/res is possible. Some like str, some prefer res.

Yes, strength is welcomed because of Monarch shield spirit so its preffered in necromancers, sorcerers and druids, caster chars.
