Look at the split between ad based revenue versus subscription over the past 10-20 years. The NYT can no longer survive on advertisements.

When we talk about trust in journalism, huge majorities of Americans see the industry as irretrievably biased. If there are safe places in media, the NYT certainly is one.

How is that relevant? You clearly show how you are ignorant of perspectives outside of the Fox News universe. The reason I know that is you display your ignorance of other perspectives when discussing current events, as you did in the post I quoted.

I haven't watched cable (i.e. CNN) in 6 years, and I don't click on Fox News links because I can get the gist by the title.

What right of center news sources do you consume regularly? Be specific.

I do a basic search, find a thread where you acknowledge something you pretend you didn't know, and then you pretend actually you didn't say that at all because blah blah some small point means you were actually saying the exact opposite.

This is the level of gymnastics required to be a conservative in 2023. You have to actively ignore both reality, and your own memory.

Based on your posts, my guess is you follow some DailyWire feed or some other conservative network. Is that not true?

I subscribe to the WSJ and I read the daily RCP new feed. RCP's Saturday feed has the New York Post (pop right), LA Times (left), Imprimis (???), The Nation (left), The Spectator (pop right), The New York Magazine (hard left), Newsweek (left), The Guardian (left), The Hill (center), CNN (establishment left), and Substack (anti-establishment), along with a few others. Otherwise I read reuters and al jazeera, the latter especially for international news.

What are you using for news?
