Is it worth it buying quality items maps and are treasure chests maps good to? And I see people posting evil wells and was wondering what is good about them and is item drop good to?

in short, the main use of the good maps is to run them with 5 players, for example with +25 ep's if you did the map solo, you'd only come across a maximum of 75 bonus ep's, running with 5 players would be a max of 225 bonus eps.
However this is generally done within guilds rather than give the chance for random players to get the drops.



My suggested get rich scheme which is clearly what you're looking for is death farming on SC.
Go with barb, get the highest LVL 55 EE club/sword/axe you can get your hands on, with decent strength armor and charm.

Get to level 55, then any time you get to 80% exp, die on that character repeatedly until you get down to 20% exp, repeat infinitely for mass fg.
Obviously cannot be done on HC as death = gear lost, and softcore prices on mutables is significantly better than hardcore anyway

Simple as pie.

Maps with +X Evil Wells are for those that want to Well items without hunting a catacomb that MAY have a Well (I have come across many catacombs that have 0 Wells) ... thus, if you want to get rid of white items, and don't want to explore a catacomb in the HOPES of finding a well, you use a Map with +X Evil Wells knowing that there is a 99.99% of finding a well.

Maps with +X Evil Presence means you can hunt more EPs in the hopes of finding great to awesome items. Especially when certain Events have Drop Quality or Quantity or Monster Difficulty (this got removed, so having this mod on a map is also good)
