I purchased this CPU cooler.

To fit the fan on the right side of the CPU cooler it doesnt clear my memory by about 1mm.

Id like to still put the fan on the right side of my cooler so it pushes air left to the exhaust on the case.

I bought a 15mm noctua fan that does clear it.

but the metal clips that hold the fan to the cpu cooler do not fit for that fan.

Does anyone know the best way to mount a 15mm fan to this cooler? After market clips of some kind?

I couldnt find anything that would for sure fit.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you

You couldn't just unclip the 212 fan and reclip it and change fan directions to the other side of heatsink? I don't think you'll have much luck mounting that fan to it unless you want to go grab some steel wire from some hardware store and wrap it through the holes.. lol

as above steel wire or a small zip tie to wrap the clip to the hole.

Thats what I had done but Id rather have the fan on the memory side. I found some clips that might actually fit. Getting them in tomorrow. Hopefully they work. If not oh well.

Raise the fan slightly to clear ram height, unless you have unusually tall ram modules, it shouldn’t really change cpu temps.

I got some aftermarket clips that worked with the 15mm noctua. Actually worked better than I thought.
