goal was to try and make something that looked like that piece sounded, and im not fully satisfied with it but it is an interesting experiment i may explore more

pretty cool idea to make a tag based on a song.
my brain doesnt really work in a way that i can imagine a song as an art piece (besides basic stuff like what you might get taught in middle school music class) but from what i can tell by listening to the song and looking at it the tag resembles the song quite a bit.
the colours are very mellow and relaxing, the background looks like one of those oldschool grandma owned konbinis that you would find in the rural japan.
only thing that doesnt fit imo is that one shadow in the middle since there is nothing that would cast such a shadow. the contrast from the girls hair to her face is beautiful, it really brings out the hair as the main focal point.
but neck down the skin being so green is kinda not my thing.
was it a conscious decision the put the focal off center or did you just go with it because it looked best?

agree and it was intentional to put it more center or slightly off center

but i decided the sound made me think of it more as a portrait with central focus than a landscape with flow/"story movement" so I switched
