They also came to my post to inform me I need to pay a "minimum of 500k" for shiny research legends (lvl 15).
After which I've traded for over 10 of them for up to 1.2k each, including Ray which is quite uncommon.
I've even managed to get a Lvl 15 Shiny Genesect (which is ridiculously more rare than other shiny research legends) for ~20k.
But hey, I guess making up ridiculous prices works. They do have 380k FG, I can't argue with that.
You needed 10 X Level 15 Shiny Legendary obtainable only by a special research back in 2017 to 2020. You get the research quest once per account per legendary.
I mainly sell to people who play Pokemon Go and want a
lucky Shiny Pokemon. The prices are high, since some Pokemon requires money to get via a special event ticket with travel to another country or a really long grind to get as a shiny. If the game developer makes a Pokemon easily obtainable then I drop the prices on them. I used to sell Armored Mewtwo for 100 fg. No one wanted them. In fact, I was selling way cheaper than the real money selling sites. I was unaware a YouTuber made a video and it drove demand like crazy. The last one I have was actually a paid reserve to get lucky best friend, but the guy became inactive and I canceled his trade and refunded his fg. Since I have one left and the demand is still high, I just list it high. I only sell to people who actually play the game and are willing to commit to the trades otherwise it's a waste of time like that guy. It also doesn't make sense to sell a Pokemon that requires 1 million stardust to trade for 100 fg too if the person doesn't want to build-up friendship by sending/opening gifts for 90 days to get best friends in order to reduce the stardust trade cost down to 80,000.
I don't match my prices with real money selling sites because they're botting the game with thousands of accounts. I am playing Pokemon Go with two accounts. If I did match their prices, it would be like burning $100 on raid passes to sell a Shiny Legendary for only $5. I am pretty sure to you this doesn't make sense.
