I blocked a guy. He can't DM me.

But he can still send me messages attached to FG.

He can still mention me and quote me.

In proposing the ability to additionally block FG and Mentions / notifications originating from a blocked user.

It's annoying that blocking someone doesn't remove their ability to contact me in various ways.

I like this idea. Have run into something similar in the past.

But it's tough when people are calling you out... Over basically nothing. But I'm a weaker person than the moderators.



Yeah, I want to block them, not just stop them from dming me.

If someone is blocked their FG is no good, their comments are unappreciated, and their mentions and quotes are worthless.

I’ve run into similar issues…blocking someone, only to have them troll my post/topic history, harassing me there. I use this site for trading, but it’s a total cesspool with incompetent moderators. I want to be able to block someone, not see their trade threads, and them not see mine.

What did you do to annoy someone *that* much?
I know my posts trigger people so it comes as no surprise to me if someone gets mad.

I voted yes, but I have my doubts they'll make it possible to just shut someone down completely.

I voted yes but I doubt they can block people from sending fg to specific people but would be nice.
